Launch Plan

Don't take notes. Build your plan. By the end of this workshop you'll walk away with a one-page Launch Blueprint, drafted by you, ready to run.

Launching is a skill, not a gamble.

Launching is a skill. You learn it once and use it for the rest of your life.

I've taken $30M+ of sales and boiled the launch down to a repeatable process. Build this one muscle and you stop wondering how to make money. You'll know how to reverse-engineer a money machine from the ground up, on purpose, on repeat.

Most people launch and pray. The 2% reverse-engineer the result before they ever open the cart. That's the whole game.

⚠️
The enemy is launching in reverse. Building the thing first, then hoping someone wants it. The fastest way to burn six months of your life. We do it the other way around. Proof first. Build second. That order is everything.
Exercise 1 · Self-Scoring

Are you ready to launch, or about to launch in reverse?

This launch process assumes your foundation is already solid. If it isn't, no launch plan on earth will save it. Check every box that is honestly true for you right now.

I've done the market research and I know real people want this.
I've already taken pre-sales or beta sales, so I know people will pay for it.
I know exactly what I'm selling, who it's for, and why they'd choose me.
My price is set and I've watched people happily pay it.
I have an audience to launch to, even a small one. I'm not launching to nobody.
I can show what I'm selling with a mockup, an image, or a clear visual, even if it isn't built yet.
Exercise 2 · The 9 Shifts

The Old Way vs. The New Way

The Old Way is volume: more followers, more content, more hype, more pressure. The New Way is precision. For each row, tap the one that sounds like how you operate today. Be honest. This shows you exactly where you're stuck.

The 5 Phases of a Legacy Launch

90% of the work happens before launch day. Draft each phase below. Everything you type flows straight into your Launch Blueprint at the bottom.

    Phase 1 of 5
    🎯

Audience Validate · Solve "will anyone actually buy this?"

Before you spend months building a book, course, product, or campaign, you want proof that real people want it. Run low-cost validation, then build a waitlist of high-intent buyers. My favorite ninja tool is a small VIP upgrade: a tiny commitment that separates the serious buyers from the casual browsers before you ever open the cart.

How you actually build the waitlist (the part most people skip)

Surveys come later. First you need the right people to survey. Here's the build, in order:

    • Run a follower ad year-round. New people come into your world every day, so you're never starting a launch from a cold, stale list.
    • Run a short "coming soon" lead-form ad. Before you sink real time or money into the product, put your hook, your offer, and your mockups in front of cold traffic and watch the data. It pressure-tests the whole concept fast and cheap, and you learn what's working in days, not months.
    • Upgrade those opt-ins into a $1 VIP. A single dollar tells you who's actually serious. Tag them, segment them, and now your waitlist is qualified and tiered, not just a pile of names.
The full how, the ad setup, the lead form, the VIP upgrade, the tagging and segmenting, is built step by step inside Legacy Launchpad. Stitching it together from free content is how you end up with a list that won't buy.
    ⚡ Command Center · Optional Add-On

"How many sales do I actually need to hit my goal?"

The Campaign Command Center is a separate spreadsheet tool that reverse-engineers your income goal into the exact number of buyers, the percentage of your list it takes, and a clear verdict on whether to run it. I'll show you live how it works.

The plan lives in this workbook. The numbers live in the Command Center. Add it →
    Phase 2 of 5
    📣

Awareness Co-create · Make them collaborators, not spectators

Instead of disappearing for six months and reappearing with a finished product, bring people behind the scenes. Build a focus group out of your superfans and early adopters. Run surveys, polls, and questions. While you do it, you're collecting the stories, testimonials, and messaging you'll use later. By the end, your audience feels invested, because they helped shape it.

Co-creating is more than surveys. It's the announcement and the repetition.

At some point you make the announcement: "Here's what I'm working on. Here's what's coming. If you want in, join the waitlist, and you'll help shape it." Then you keep saying it, because saying it once does almost nothing.

    • People need to see it 7 to 10 times before they act. Only a fraction of your audience sees any single post or email, so you post a lot in this phase. This is where most people quit too early.
    • Repeat from fresh angles. Same core message, new framing each time, so it stays alive instead of going stale. Keeping it fresh while you repeat is the actual skill.
    • Everything you make here is reusable. The posts, the stories, the testimonials all become assets you pull out again for every future launch. Build once, use for years.
The angle library and the posting cadence that make this work without burning you out are taught inside Legacy Launchpad.
    Phase 3 of 5

Anticipation Create desire · Build demand before the cart opens

Most launches fail because the creator waits until launch day to start talking about the thing. Way too late. People shouldn't discover your launch on launch day. They should be waiting for it, with it marked on their calendar, checking your socials so they don't miss it. Build momentum with countdowns, sneak peeks, reveals, and strategic storytelling.

This is where the email calendar and the social countdown do the heavy lifting
    • Build your email calendar and pre-schedule it. Every few days a reminder goes out: "This is coming. Put it on your calendar. I'm so excited." Set it once so launch week runs itself.
    • Turn your grid into a countdown. Even a simple slide with a number counting down the days sparks curiosity. People hit your bio to find out what's coming, and they opt in. A little fun and mystery beats a hard sell here.
    • Drip sneak peeks, small reveals, and bits of story. Short and exciting, never long-winded, always with something held back.

Activation Launch · Flip the switch, everything fires

This is launch day and launch week. Emails go out. Ads go live. Content publishes. Texts send. Affiliates and partners activate. Everything fires at once. By now 90% of the work is already done. This is where you get paid and enjoy the fruit of it.

Most of it is automated. Your job now is to watch and feed the loop.

The hard work is behind you. During the launch you keep your ear to the ground, gather feedback, and read what's landing and what's weak. And you watch the curve, because launches follow a predictable shape.

    • Day one spikes. Your most ready buyers move first.
    • The middle dips. Almost every time. This is normal buyer behavior, not a failure.
    • The close spikes hardest. A whole segment of buyers never moves until the final hours, sometimes the final minute before the cart closes.
    The Typical Launch Sales Curve
A 7-day window. Spike, dip, spike. The dip is normal, so you plan for it.
    ← Spike the Dip here → OPEN CLOSE Day 1 2 3 4 5 6 Day 7
    Spike the Dip

You don't sit and watch the middle sag. You plan something to pull attention back: a mid-campaign reveal, a fresh bonus, a new angle. In our candle launches we'll drop a surprise bonus candle reveal right in the middle of the campaign to drive traffic back to the site. One planned moment can rescue the whole middle of your launch.

    ⚡ Command Center · Optional Add-On

Launch week is for tracking, and the Command Center tracks it for you.

Daily revenue, units sold, open and click rates, spots remaining, days left, and a live execution checklist all run inside the Command Center, the separate spreadsheet tool. It tells you in real time whether you're ahead or behind, so you can spike the dip while the cart is still open.

The workbook got you ready. The Command Center runs the numbers.

Amplification Multiply · Turn one launch into a 365 machine

Most creators finish a launch and start from zero again. Exhausting. Take everything that worked and turn it into a system that keeps selling. If the cart closes, build an evergreen version. If it stays open, add upsells, downsells, VIP upgrades, and a clear ascension path. Build the machine once and it keeps selling long after launch week ends.

One product can become a whole funnel. Here's what that looks like.

Say you launched a book. Most people sell the $20 paperback and stop. You don't. You turn one product into a path:

    • Sell the bundle, not the basic. A hardcover special edition with sprayed edges as a $100 bundle, instead of the $20 paperback they could grab on Amazon.
    • Add the box at checkout. A book box with bookmarks and bookish extras, another $100 or so right as they're buying. One order becomes $200+.
    • Point the funnel up. Non-fiction can lead into high-ticket coaching. Fiction becomes a full e-commerce funnel of bundles and boxes.
    • Then run cold traffic to it. Once it's dialed in, you stop relying on launch spikes and grow the business on autopilot.
This is the backend most founders never build, and it's exactly the work we do together inside Legacy Empire. The frameworks behind it are in Legacy Launchpad.
    ⚡ Command Center · Optional Add-On

One launch should make the next one easier.

The post-launch debrief, your real conversion rates against benchmark, and your campaign diagnosis score all live in the Command Center's Review tab, plus a running history of every campaign you run. That record becomes one of your most valuable assets over time.
