It’s been a crazy year. At the beginning of this year, I took a hiatus from coaching and mentoring to focus 100% on my e-commerce business.
I’m really glad I did because this year has been a challenge across the board in nearly every industry. It has taken all my focus and attention to keep things going and growing. More on this later…
It’s no secret the economy has majorly shifted.
By definition, the USA is in an official recession. Inflation is through the roof. Not only that, but as lockdowns eased and we have a [likely temporary] feeling of normal life, people have shifted their daily behaviours, including tightening discretionary spending.
Add to that, we’re facing all kinds of other turmoil globally which affects supply chains, access to goods and more.
I’m not worried, I’m cautious.
Now isn’t the time to be taking massive loans and doing risky things.
It IS the time to build multiple streams of income, to build safety nets, and especially to build a thriving business!
What people don’t realize is that just like water…money never disappears, it only transforms. It’s an unquenchable resource. It may flow into other hands, but it’s never gone.
In markets like these, people don’t stop spending money. They only choose more carefully or selectively where to spend it.
So if people are still spending money, how do you get them to spend it with YOU and your business?
